A Wild Elopement

I have always loved the beautiful American boho mountain weddings that feature on wedding blogs like Bride and Tonic and Rock My Wedding.

When myself and fellow suppliers found the beautiful location of Loose Reins, we knew we had found the perfect setting for this kind of shoot.

Loose is set in a very special natural valley with fields and woodland all around- the perfect retreat for a mini moon or romantic getaway. The beautiful cabin is stylishly accessorised and the wooden veranda quipped with sheepskin clad benches and willow rocking chairs is the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by.

The shoot was inspired by the Pioneers of the West, with a warm autumnal hues, beautiful bohemian gowns and exquisite jewellery and hair accessories such as the stunning gold headdress by Agnes Walker.

Gorgeous stationery was hand designed and made by Geri Loves Emi and featured delicate gold leaf details. Romsey Vintage hire provided bespoke hand painted signage on clear glass- a trend set to stay in 2018.

Beautiful romantic styling and props from Lo & Behold and the most incredible cakes and sweet treats you will ever set eyes upon (let alone eat) by the super talented Harriot of Jemima_Cakes.

Romantic, moody and beautiful hair and make up was created by Amy Richards and Lady B Hair. And THAT dress kindly supplied by Winchester's best bridal boutique, Exquisite Bridal Couture.

I was keen to capture the Prairie feel in the flowers and used beautiful Golden Mustard roses, Eucalyptus, Butterfly Ranunculus and a variety of dried grasses. We wanted to create a romantic elopement shoot with deep moody colours and all the richness of Autumn. Special thanks to our truly amazing model @harriet_russell1. x
