Romantic Winter Wedding, Northbrook Park, Surrey
Winter weddings are such a treat. You don't have to worry about the weather (it's probably going to be wet and wild,) no need to have to plan an outside ceremony or if you are going to get all hot and sweaty in your amazing gown.
One of the best things about choosing a winter wedding is those early dark evenings. Yes, this means that you and your photographer might have to plan a bit of extra time to make the most of the daylight, but those cosy evenings can be so perfect for celebrations. Flowers really do make the day in terms of decoration for the venue, but the addition of lots of lovely candles creates the most romantic atmosphere and looks magical when your guests enter your reception space.
We absolutely loved working with our couple to create a beautiful set up for their wedding at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. The feel for the day was luxurious and romantic with a touch of boho, with plenty of gorgeous accessories to style the orangery.
We loved creating the florals for this wedding, proving that winter weddings don’t have to be full of ‘Christmassy’ flowers and foliage – not a white berry, red flower or thistle in sight. Thank you, lovely Lucy and Billy, for allowing us to be a little part of your special day. xx
